"The Search for the Golden Spike"

On July 14, 2022 Orion Magazine published "The Search for the Golden Spike." The article features Dr. DeLong and her students' project on the West Flower Gardens Bank coral reef: a project that will define the Anthropocene epoch on the official Geological Time Scale.
