Service

I strive to be an active and constructive member of my academic and professional communities, helping to sustain highest quality and ethical standards in archaeological research, shape the future of equitable and collaborative archaeological practices, and support the shared-governance of university institutions. I serve the Department of Geography & Anthropology in various capacities, including director of graduate studies (2017-2021). I am currently contributing to LSU's Internalization Lab initiative.

I am an active member of the following organizations: American Association of University Professor (AAUP), American Anthropological Association (AAA), Archaeological Institute of America (AIA), Institute of Andean Studies, Lambda Alpha Anthropology Honors Society (faculty sponsor, Alpha LA), Louisiana Archaeological Society (Baton Rouge Chapter), Peruvian National Register of Archaeologists (RNA: CCH-0328), Register of Professional Archaeologists (RPA), and Society for American Archaeology (SAA).
