Discrimination and Alcohol Use Study

The purpose of this study is to research the links between experiencing various forms of racism on mental health and alcohol use among Black/African American adults in the U.S. The study involves completing two online surveys and brief surveys using an app on your phone every day for 3 weeks. To participate in this study, you must: 1) Be 21-65 years old, 2) Identify as Black or African American, 3) Own an iPhone or Android, 4) Have drank 4-6 alcoholic drinks in 2 hours in the past month, and 5) Live in the United States.  You can earn up to $260 for participating in this 3-week study. All aspects of the study can be completed remotely.
