Work with Us

Why should students work in the UP lab?

Do you like babies? Do you like motor development? Do you want to be an interdisciplinary researcher in the field of developmental science and kinesiology? Are you interested in working in pediatrics?

  • Gain experience in childhood assessment and behavioral coding.
  • Gain individualized experience with faculty, graduate student(s), and students interested in infant and childhood research.
  • Research experience is valuable for graduate school, PT/OT/SLP, or med school applications, particularly in pediatric areas of focus.

Dr. Marcinowski can accept undergraduate students as work-study (President's Student Aid or typical work-study), research experience (KIN 4900), volunteer, or honors thesis students through the Ogden Honors College. In order to be considered, you may be asked to provide materials (e.g., a letter of recommendation, a curriculum vita/resume) and have an in-person interview.

Emily Marcinowski is accepting applications for Undergraduate (Spring 2024) and Graduate students (Fall 2024). See below for how to apply.
