NSF EPSCoR Graduate Fellowship Program
July 2025 || The COMET Lab helped lead a successful $1.6M NSF grant to attract honorable mention recipients from the Graduate Resesearch Fellowship Program (GRFP) to LSU. Any GRFP honorable mention recipient within the last three years is encouraged to contact Dr. Miller about graduate studies in the LSU COMET Lab. The program is officially titled "WIdening the Nation's STEM Workforce IN Louisiana" and appropriately dubbed "WIN-WIN."
LSU Alumni Association
April 2024 || The COMET Lab is recognized by the LSU Office of Academic Affairs for its exceptional research productivity with the Alumni Association Rising Faculty Research Award. Dr. Paul Miller was also named the recipient of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society's 2024 Non-Tenured Faculty Award.

May 2023 || The COMET Lab receives a 5-year CAREER grant from the National Science Foundation to study how Saharan dust effects drought events in the Caribbean.
