Matthew is a Ph.D. student in the Cognitive and Brain Sciences program who started in 2020. He earned a Psychology B.A. from University of California, Davis, where he was a research assistant in the Janata Lab. His primary research interests are in the association between music and memory, measures of musicianship, and individual differences found within musicians.

Lauren is a Ph.D. student in the Cognitive and Brain Sciences program who started in 2022. She earned a Brain and Behavioral Sciences B.S. from Purdue University. Her research interests include understanding the development of working memory and attention in children and adolescents, as well as individual differences in cognition.
