tDCS Presentation in Napa, CA
Dr. Duncan and co-author A. Duke Shereen (Advanced Science Research Center, CUNY Graduate Center) will present their research on "Interrogating interhemispheric inhibition in language: Network effects of transcranial direct current stimulation on resting state functional connectivity" at the 2019 Joint Meeting of Neuromodulation: The Science and NYC 2019 NYC Neuromodulation & Neuromodulation: The Science in Napa, CA (10/4-10/6).
New Paper in the American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology
Dr. Duncan and co-authors Neila Donovan (LSU COMD) and Seyed Ahmad Sajjadi (UC Irvine Neurology) have a new paper in the American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology, "Clinical characteristics of apraxia of speech in primary progressive aphasia." The paper can be found online here.

Come see Surani Nakkawita's first authored poster at the Clinical Aphasiology Conference in Whitefish, MT on 5/31/19! The topic is "AAC apps for aphasia: The role of intuition and learning" and the work was co-authored by Dr. Duncan and Dr. Daphne Hartzheim (LSU COMD).

Dr. Duncan Attending NM4R Workshop
Dr. Duncan will be attending the Level 1 workshop offered by the National Center of Neuromodulation for Rehabilitation at the Medical University of South Carolina from October 15-20, 2017. She is particularly excited about the prospect of adding transcranial magnetic stimulation to the LIBRe lab research program!

Dr. Duncan Awarded LA Board of Regents Grant
Dr. Duncan has been awarded a 3-year grant to investigate the effects of transcranial direct current stimulation combined with aphasia therapy.
