Welcome to the Multiscale Energy Resource Simulation (MERS) Group!

The MERS  research group is Dr. Olufemi (Femi) Olorode's research lab. It focuses on multiscale numerical and experimental studies of coupled physical processes in energy resources, as unconventional resources, hydrate-based gas storage, underground CO2 and hydrogen storage, geologic hydrogen production, and enhanced geothermal systems (EGS). Our work involves developing novel technologies for simulating and visualizing the results of these multiscale studies.
