Project Manager

On the first day of my junior year of college, I was presented with an opportunity that changed my life.  Without fully understanding what I was signing up for,  I submitted my name to work as the only undergraduate in a child language disorders research lab.  I worked  on various projects that cultivated my learning about language disorders in children, studying dialects, and language screening and assessment.

Later, as a school-based speech-language pathologist, my clients benefited from my experiences in the lab, as I integrated what I learned about language disorders and dialects.  I am excited to return back to the lab where my passion for research first developed to help mentor the next generation of speech-language pathologists.  -- Dr. Christy Wynn Moland, Project Manager
