The Motor Neuroscience Laboratory is conducting a study on anxiety and brain stimulation 

Who is Eligible

• People with and without generalized anxiety disorder
• Aged 18 to 35
• Willing and able to visit the laboratory
• No self-reported history of major physiological (musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular) disorders

Who is NOT Eligible

• People with a history of seizures, immediate family history of seizures and/or epilepsy, skull fractures, or poorly controlled migraine headaches
• People with implanted biomedical device (active or inactive implants (including device leads), including deep brain simulators, cochlear implants, and vagus nerve simulators)
•  Participants taking any medications, which may influence cortical excitability, which could influence neurophysiologic measures and affect objective clinical data (e.g. anti-epileptics)

Time to complete

• 1 visit lasting, at most, 3 hours

Compensation

• $50 gift card, upon completing all parts of the study
