Director

Jason L. Harman, Ph.D. – Dr. Harman was Assistant Professor of Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Louisiana State University until 2023 and research faculty at the U.S. Naval Research Lab. Begining in Fall of 2023, Dr. Harman became Associate Prfessor of Cognitive and Learning Science at Michigan Technologiacl University. Dr. Harman holds a Ph.D. in experimental psychology from Ohio University and completed a three year post-doctoral fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University's Social and Decision Science Department. His research encompasses human judgment and decision making, organizational behavior, and applied decision science.

Current Members

John-Luke McCord, Ph.D. Student – John-Luke is a PhD student in the Industrial and Organizational Psychology program at Louisiana State University under Dr. Harman. John-Luke received his B.S. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his M.A. in Experimental Psychology from Western Carolina University. His research encompasses aspects of personality, work motivation, and person-job fit as well as human judgment and decision making.

Chelsea Hightower, Ph.D. Student – Chelsea is a PhD student in the Industrial and Organizational Psychology program at Louisiana State University under Dr. Harman. Chelsea received her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Central Florida and Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology also at the University of Central Florida. Her research interests include job attitudes and emotions, workplace mistreatment, and selection and training.

Michael Hay is a PhD student in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology program. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology from CUNY Queens College. His research interests include individual and organizational decision making and adaptation. He hopes to one day work for the federal government as an I/O psychologist to help improve its decision making functions.
