Ingmar Schoegl, PhD

Dr. Ingmar Schoegl is Associate Professor at the Mechanical & Industrial Engineering Department at Louisiana State University. Before starting at LSU in 2009, he obtained a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechatronics from the Johannes Kepler Universität in Linz/Austria. His research interests combine theoretical, experimental and numerical aspects of combustion.
David Akinpelu
David Akinpelu is a PhD candidate researching at the Microcombustion lab. David graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Nigeria with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering. His research interests are on micro-combustion, alternative fuels, and computational combustion diagnostics. He works on investigating ignition properties of gaseous fuels at elevated pressures in a heated micro-channel.
