Xing Fu

Dr. Xing Fu received his PhD degree from Washington State University where he studied the impact of obesity and diabetes on muscle development and regeneration in the laboratory of Dr. Min Du. In 2016 he joined the laboratory of Dr. Jeffery Molkentin at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital as a postdoctoral fellow, where he investigated the biology of cardiac fibroblast in cardiac fibrosis. He joined LSU as an assistant professor in December 2017.  Dr. Fu was promoted to Ralph and Lela Boulware Associate Professor in July 2023.
