We are pleased to announce that a group of MIND members, led by Dr. Alexander Murashov, have successfully reactivated the Baton Rouge Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience (SfN)!

On March 8, 2024, we held the Inaugural Chapter Symposium,  Bringing Minds Together,  at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center.  The event was attended by 126 participants from various departments and schools, including LSU A&M, PBRC, HRSA/NHDP, Southern University, LSU New Orleans, Tulane, and Xavier University.  The BAM Lab was well-represnted at this event, with excellent talks by Bri Cariney, Felicia Chaisson, and Chloe Kindell!   Congrats all around, and extra congrats to Bri for winning the Best Oral Presentation award!
