General Interests
My research focuses on North American waterfowl, which are among the best studied group of birds in the world and a model system in ecology and conservation. I am interested in linking individual-level processes to population- and community-level outcomes that are relevant to waterfowl management.

Dr. Ringelman is a diversity and inclusion champion in the College of Agriculture. As a D&I Champion, Dr. Ringelman serves as a primary point of contact for undergraduate and graduate students and fellow faculty in the College of Agriculture on DEI issues.
