Projects & Resources
Current projects:
An analysis of vegetation establishment and its feedback with coastal inundation via coupled hydrodynamic-ecological modeling.
Duration: 2024-2026
Funding: RESTORE Act Center of Excellence for Louisiana
We are modeling vegetation establishment in Wax Lake Delta to assess changes in inundation and flow velocities under different vegetation cover. ANUGA and dorado will allow us to study the ecosystem engineering effect of various vegetation species and how it affect particle pathways of water and sediments.
Past projects:
Still too young...
Resources:
We are dedicated to publishing our data and source codes open-access to guarantee transparency, reproducibility and accelerate the advancement of science.
The latest modeling codes are available on our Github-page:
