                          NearlySans

The typeface NearlySans, consisting of four fonts (regular, bold, oblique, bold oblique), is a modified version of the FreeSans typeface of 2012-05-03.
Coverage is nearly identical to that of FreeSans.

The main modifications are the addition of a hook to l and serifs to I, in order to make fonts that are similar to Arial/Helvetica but with readily distinguishable l, I, and 1.

Also: A new outline of the Greek lower-case letter nu is included, so that it is no longer a copy of the Latin letter v. The Horizontal Line Extension (U+23af), Long Leftward Arrow (U+27f5), and Long Rightward Arrow (U+27f6) are included, so that users can combine them to make arrows of adjustable length (e.g., for chemical equations). The rounded parts of many Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic characters have been compressed a bit vertically, so that they are closer in height to those in other free sans-serif fonts.

Additional details of the modifications made are in Changelog.txt.
